How to Get Pregnant Quickly — Folk Remedies

If conceiving a child is taking a long time and all medical methods have been tried, it is worth turning to folk remedies. This involves not only herbal decoctions but also choosing the right days and positions for successful conception.

A long-awaited baby — the greatest miracle. But what to do if doctors find no serious pathologies, yet conception doesn’t happen. Folk remedies to get pregnant are a solution for many women.

Do Folk Remedies Help You Get Pregnant?

If a woman and a man do not have any health contraindications, and all medical methods have already been tried without success, the best option would be to use natural remedies to conceive. Due to the large number of beneficial nutrients, various herbs have a comprehensive effect on the female body, which positively influences the occurrence of pregnancy.

As reviews from successful mothers who struggled with conceiving for a long time show, folk remedies helped to address the existing problem. It should be understood that this is not a cure-all, and taking natural-based decoctions should be combined with other measures to achieve pregnancy.

A consultation with a doctor is also mandatory to determine any contraindications to the use of medicinal herbs. It’s important to remember that decoctions from some herbs have several contraindications, so the current recipe should be strictly followed.

Using Folk Remedies Before Conception

When planning a pregnancy, it is essential to completely eliminate negative factors affecting the health of both partners. This refers to stressful situations, daily routines, and chronic fatigue. More time should be devoted to rest and each other. Folk remedies can also help with conception.

Among the most common and effective methods for conceiving a child when natural means are unsuccessful is the use of various medicinal herbs. If the question of how to quickly become pregnant with folk remedies is relevant, it is worth studying the specifics of use and the effects of natural plants on the female body.

Sage

Sage is one of the most common medicinal plants. It contains a phytohormone that acts similarly to female hormones. By regularly consuming sage broth, there is a significant increase in sperm activity. They are more likely to reach the egg, which is key to successful conception.

To prepare a sage infusion, you should follow the prescribed recipe: pour 1 tablespoon of the herb with 1 cup of boiling water. It needs to be infused for an hour. Take it twice a day, 1 tablespoon each time. Stop the intake during menstruation. If conception fails, discontinue the infusion for one cycle, then resume taking it.

Borovaya Matka

Orthilia secunda or borovaya matka is one of the most common folk remedies for becoming pregnant. It is readily available at any pharmacy. Preparing a decoction from this medicinal plant is very simple: you need to pour 2 tablespoons of the raw material with water and bring it to a boil. According to the recipe, the resulting decoction should be stored in a dark place.

After this, the infusion should be strained and taken 1 tablespoon 4 times a day. The duration of the intake is determined individually. Occasionally, the duration of intake is more than 3 months.

Red Brush

The list of effective folk remedies to conceive also includes the red brush. Regular intake of this plant’s decoction helps eliminate many female diseases. Additionally, it rejuvenates the body and promotes rapid fertilization. It is only necessary to keep in mind that the red brush is incompatible with other types of hormones.

According to the recipe, to prepare a decoction from the red brush, its crushed root (1 tablespoon) needs to be poured over with boiling water and kept in a hot bath for 15 minutes. After that, the decoction is removed from heat and infused for an hour. The strained decoction should be taken for at least 2 months, 1 tablespoon three times a day before meals. Once this period is over, it is recommended to take a break for a few weeks.

Pumpkin

It not only contains vitamin E, but also acts as a primary regulator of hormones in the body of a pregnant woman. Therefore, it is the optimal folk remedy for conceiving. Immediately after the end of menstruation, this vegetable should be consumed in all possible variations.

Knotweed

Knotweed is another herbal assistant for expectant mothers. According to the recipe for preparing the decoction, you need to pour 4 tablespoons of the herb with 0.5 liters of boiling water and let it infuse for 4 hours. This infusion should be consumed at least 4 times a day, 10-15 minutes before meals.

Ficus

According to ancient belief, to conceive quickly, you should have a plant like ficus in the house. However, you shouldn’t buy it yourself— it must be given as a gift by friends or relatives.

Alder Root

The dried alder root should be ground, and then you need to pour 3 tablespoons of the resulting powder with 1 liter of boiling water. Leave the resulting decoction for 10 hours, then remove the lid and allow the infusion to cool to room temperature. After that, strain the decoction and use it for douching. The optimal option is to perform this procedure right before going to bed.

The treatment course lasts 3 weeks. Then you need to take a one-week break and repeat the course again. To conceive with this folk remedy, you need to carry out the course at least 5 times.

Dill and Parsley

A decoction from these plants is suitable for women treating adhesions and tubal obstruction. The decoction has a very strong antibacterial effect and is perfect for relieving inflammation foci. To prepare the decoction, you need to chop fresh herbs or use dried ones.

Boil 1 liter of water, reduce the heat and add 1 tablespoon each of dill and parsley. Then you need to boil the decoction for 15 minutes over low heat, pour it into a thermos and let it infuse for a day. After that, strain the resulting infusion through cheesecloth. Drink this decoction in small sips throughout the day. The treatment course lasts at least 2 months.

Flax Seeds

First, grind 300 g of flaxseed to a paste-like consistency, then place this paste in a pan and pour 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil over it. Once the oil boils, the resulting mixture is placed on a gauze cloth. Wait for it to cool down, and then apply it to the lower abdomen and cover with plastic wrap.

If used regularly, this compress has a positive effect on the reproductive functions of the body. The compress must be kept for at least 2-3 hours. Continue the treatment for a duration of 60 days.

Plantain

One of the most popular folk remedies to get pregnant. A plantain decoction has a beneficial effect on the menstrual cycle and normalizes the hormonal background. To prepare the decoction, pour boiling water over a teaspoon of seeds. Boil the infusion for at least 5 minutes, then drink the warm tea 4 times a day, 2 tablespoons each time.

Medicinal Plants for Restoring Reproductive Function

Folk remedies for conceiving when it’s been difficult for a long time should be classified into a separate category.

  • Garden viburnum. It is used for treating many women’s diseases, including preventing miscarriages. An infusion of viburnum is used to treat ailments caused by menstruation.
  • Abraham’s tree. It helps stabilize ovulation and restore the normal course of the menstrual cycle. This folk remedy for conception involves taking infusions over a long period, from three months.
  • Medicinal chamomile. This calming plant, whose decoction relieves muscle tension, is used for uterine bleeding.
  • Ginseng. It can be used for fibrocystic breast changes, hematuria, and other diseases. A decoction of this plant regulates hormone levels and normalizes the menstrual cycle.
  • Licorice. The plant contains hormonally active natural compounds. A decoction based on it helps to normalize the menstrual cycle.

These traditional remedies to conceive should only be taken after consulting with your doctor.

Contraindications

Not all traditional remedies to conceive are suitable for every woman. Therefore, before starting to take medicinal herbs, you should consult a doctor for preliminary advice. It is important to consider that some plants have abortive properties and also affect the tone of the uterus.

Consideration should also be given to individual intolerance of certain plants, including the risk of allergic reactions. For example, not all women are suited to mint, plantain, red viburnum. On a doctor’s recommendation, it may be necessary to refrain from rose hips, black currant leaves, chamomile.

Another important aspect related to the use of folk remedies to conceive is that natural infusions should be taken strictly according to an active recipe. Herbal decoctions need to be consumed in specific courses, ensuring breaks between them.

Determining Conception Days

The highest chance of conception occurs in the middle of the woman’s cycle, when the egg cell matures. In the cervix, uterus, and fallopian tubes, sperm cells do not die for up to 6 days. Therefore, the most favorable days for conceiving a child are considered to be:

  • ovulation day;
  • 5-6 days preceding ovulation;
  • One day after ovulation.

If you conduct a test 24-36 hours before ovulation to determine the increase in luteinizing hormone levels, specifically LH, you can determine the days with the highest probability of conception with maximum accuracy. Testing should begin 17 days before the expected menstruation.

To perform the test, the test strip should be placed in urine for 20 seconds and evaluated after 3 minutes. If it is fainter than the control line, then there is no LH surge, meaning pregnancy has not occurred. Testing needs to be conducted every day at the same time.

Optimal Days for Conception

Another folk remedy to get pregnant is counting days. They are determined by basal temperature. Rectal temperature should be measured every day at the same time, ideally in the morning. Based on the results obtained, a chart is built. If the temperature rises by 0.4-0.5 degrees, this is a sign of ovulation.

Some couples seeking to quickly get pregnant using folk remedies try several times a day. The correct approach is as follows: 2-3 days before conception, completely exclude intimacy. This will allow more sperm to accumulate, which increases their activity. During the first act, their concentration is the highest.

Poses for Conception

Accelerating conception can be achieved by choosing the right sexual position. According to many experts, this is another traditional method to increase chances of pregnancy. Sexologists highlight three of the most effective positions that help see the long-awaited two lines:

  1. Missionary position. This classic position is the most suitable for conception. It should be noted that this position may not be suitable for women with certain physiological features of the uterus.
  2. Spoon position. According to popular beliefs, this position is most favorable for conceiving a girl.
  3. Rear position. This is a position where the woman is on her knees and the man is behind her in the same position. The effectiveness of this position is linked to the fact that the path sperm take to the egg is significantly shorter. Couples dreaming of a boy should pay attention to this position.

Choosing the right position for conception is a kind of folk remedy to get pregnant. However, selecting the optimal position for maximum effectiveness should consider the physiological characteristics of the uterus structure. If there are uterine bends, you should choose the following positions:

  • Side position. The woman should lie on her side, with the man behind her. It’s essential to lie on the side corresponding to the direction of the uterine bend.
  • Knee-elbow position. An ideal position as sperm reach the egg much faster.

To achieve the most positive effect, it is recommended to lie down for a few minutes after intercourse. If you also take folk remedies, the likelihood of getting pregnant will be highest.

It should be noted that folk remedies for conceiving only work if there are no medical obstacles to pregnancy. By eating properly, avoiding stressful situations, and maintaining a positive mindset, pregnancy can occur much faster.
